In addition to the Johnson Air Rotation® Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation units, the Air Rotation® design is the perfect way to provide a complete solution to any large, open building! These are many of the options and features available in the Johnson Air Rotation® Family of Products.

Evaporative Cooling Option:
Utilizing direct evaporative cooling media (Munters GlasDEK) for outside air, Johnson Air Rotation® units provide nearly free cooling for many areas of the country. Better yet, we can add mechanical cooling as well in the same unit, providing perfect air conditioning in all weather conditions.

Sound Reduction Package:
Any space will benefit from the quiet operation of an Air Rotation® unit. The answer for sound sensitive applications is our sound reduction options including Johnson’s exclusive quiet custom fans, built in sound targets, perforated double wall construction, and sound attenuators.

Humidification:
Johnson Air Rotation® units can include built-in humidifiers using an existing source of building steam or even generate its own steam with a gas or electric steam generator, atomizing humidifier, or direct pressurized misters. And, of course, the Air Rotation® unit will ensure even humidity throughout the space.

Oil Mist Filters:
When a building has an oil mist or related problem, the solution does not have to be costly. Simply adding “oil” mist filters to the Air Rotation® design quickly and efficiently solves the problem. Maintenance is easier than any other system by far, as the filters are indoor at ground or floor level.

Specialty Filtration Options:
Optional roll filters are perfect for textile and other industries with heavy amounts of particles in the space. Filters as fine as MERV 11 are available on the Air Rotation® unit. Even carbon-impregnated media solves odor problems. Who else offers this many choices?

Need to Catch a Flue?
Perfectly matched to our indirect-fired heater and your building, our double wall, UL® listed, stainless steel flue will last a lifetime and meet all local codes. Why risk buying anything else? You could catch something worse than our Flue!

If Steel Storage/Distribution is your game…
The Johnson Air Rotation® System with our Condensate Control Package could save the day (and a building full of steel). If the relative humidity is in the danger zone for steel storage, our Air Rotation® unit goes into action---lowering the relative humidity and sending an alarm to the potential destructive situation.

Night Setback: Nighttime Free Cooling
How to make the most efficient system even better? Add a Night Setback Package. For a few dollars more, the money saved with this option is yours to keep year after year. An adjustable setback and timer are fully adjustable for your specific schedule.

Need Lots of Ventilation?
Turn your Air Rotation® unit into a Building Ventilation System! The large volume fans in our unit can be used as either make-up air or exhaust fans as well. Have our engineering team review your building for this great design option.

MWA, Supply and Exhaust Fans:
Our Johnson Air Rotation® System will turn the air in your building several times each hour. If your building needs additional ventilation, we can supply it.

California Here We Come…
When tight emission guidelines require an ultra clean burning system, our Low NOx Burner option meets the challenge. Available on any size unit, this option is a must-have for states leading the country in tight emission standards.

Smoke Detectors:
Tied into a fire protection system or simply to alert the building occupants early, our Smoke Detector option can save more than the day.

Shed Light on the Solution:
An access light fixture inside the Air Rotation® unit is on every maintenance person’s wish list. How better to show off how well maintained the unit is!

It’s an Economizer:
Not only can the Air Rotation® unit handle fixed amounts of outside air with our original, coveted design, cooling units can be arranged with A-Frame Coils when an economizer option is used. This can provide high volumes of ventilation air for free cooling in the Spring and Autumn months.

Electronic Control Package…
…can tie into a building management system or just exhaust fans. Many building owners use this package with the Nighttime Free Cooling concept. The control package automatically ventilates the building at night, when the outside air is coolest. In the morning the building is closed up and that cool air is circulated all day – eliminating the need for air conditioning well into the afternoon, maybe all day!

Adjustable Horizontal & Vertical Louvers:
You may not notice, but our design engineers probably already analyzed your building and included horizontal and/or vertical directional louvers needed at the unit outlet. This is what makes the Air Rotation® concept work so well. Wonder why our competitors don’t even offer louvers as an option? We sure have.

Access Platforms:
Making burner maintenance and start-up safer and more convenient, access platforms are a great option for indoor and outdoor Air Rotation® units.

UV Kills (bacteria):
